This was an interior repaint house painting project for one of our fantastic customers in Lanoka Harbor in Ocean County, New Jersey.
Our Interior Painting Process
When Jorge’s Painting provides interior painting services, the first thing we do is to cover the floor with papers to protect these vulnerable surfaces from any drips. Then we proceed to roll the ceiling white. Typically, we apply semigloss to the doors and trim as well.
The next day, if the previous colors on the wall were darker and new colors are lighter, we prime all the walls that had darker colors. Then we roll one time with the new color and look for any dents in the walls. We fix dents and imperfections with spackle prior applying the final roll. After that, we cut in the corners and edges twice by hand with a brush. Next, we sand the spackle where we fixed the dents and apply 2 coats of primer to those areas before we roll the final coat. Finally, after this all done, we are paint the baseboards and clean up.
